日本の英語教育に欠けているもの

神戸-関空ベイ・シャトルを使って神戸空港から関西空港に移動したのですが、時刻表の下部に書かれていた英文が非常に気になりました。

●For our board is scheduled to depart 5 minutes ago.Please wait -in the lobby,until the bording announcement. 
●Between the pier from Kansai International Airport Passenger Terminal will arrive in about 6 minutes to7 minutes.

これは英語なんでしょうかね？bordingなんてのもあります。

関西空港の桟橋行のバス乗り場にも以下のような英文がありました。

●When you are ferry passengers, you don't have to pay bus fare. (as ferry fare contains bus fare) Please buy ferry tickets at the ticket booth on north side of the first floor in the kansai airport terminal next to exit A before entering the bus. Be aware that tickets for the ferry will not be sold at the dock.
●When you aren't ferry passengers, please get on a bus from the front door and pay bus tare.

これもまたおぞましい英語だと思いました。tareを払うとは何をするんでしょう？

あんまり言いたくはないですが、日本人のこういう英語は語感が全然働いていないという点で救いようがないです。何が原因なのかと言えば、やはり学校での英語の教え方に問題があると言えそうですね。英語の語感を高めるには多読しかないのに、教科書を丸暗記するような文法重視の学習方法では英文を読む絶対量が不足します。

非英語圏の英語の上手な大学生にどうやって英語の勉強をしたのかきいたらところ、ハリーポッターを英語で全部読んだと言ってました。日本人の英語学習にはこういう経験が決定的に足りないのです。
